Teacher's Bio

Experience: This is my fifth year at Winslow Junior High School. Previously, I taught English as a Second Language to children and adults, as well as writing to college students and adult learners. I have also tutored students aged 7 to 18 for a range of subjects. 

Education: I have a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, an MA in Rhetoric, Writing, and Digital Media Studies from Northern Arizona University (NAU), and an MA in English with an Emphasis on Secondary Education from NAU. I am certified to teach Secondary Education - English by the State of Arizona.

Background: I grew up in the Army, and I have lived in a dozen states and countries, travelling to many more. My family is from Arizona, however, and this is where my heart has always been.
