okay awesome girl going to choose a three color combination now I have some students that are starting warm going in the pool colors actually doing the transitions I have people that are doing the full triadic range around the color wheel as it moves across and then I have some people that just choose to three color combination and stick with it like one three colors I have a triadic color combination right here and I actually started it right here yesterday so you are going to use your your credit colors we do not use black how to lighten just where we have to okay but white black tender really  the life out of a paint color so we try to only go with our actual excuse and then a dark handsome AIDS West complimentary Hughes alright so I have my orange over here and I added a little bit of violets to darken up my orange and then I added a little bit of yellow to lighten up my orange hey so you want to actually do your tints and shades and do your value here so that it looks like these cubes are actually shooting out of you all right so I have my Violet on my orange and then the third color my triadic combination is my green so I'm going to come over here I'm going to grab some green this is acrylic paint so you want to make sure you're keeping your brush wet but not sopping wet and that you are keeping the bristles of your brush together you're not scrubbing a floor your painting K and when the bristles of the brass Shady the bristles are happy and if you ever happy brush never happy painting K and then miss Knox is happy because I don't hear her brushes screaming in absolute pain and egg as their little hair you're being ripped out of their little bodies alright it's really sad to hear paintbrush drink so I'll take a nap and I'll paint what is acrylic colors you might have to do two coats nor get there really nice lovely coverage that you're looking for and that's okay you know do I let it dry and then come back I tend to go for the more saturated colors cuz I'm a painter and I love saturated colors so I tend to not like brush Strokes I'm not a fan of brush strokes and I am a fan of really bright side the colors now the to get my light tones on my green I'm going to pull some of my yellow in and it'll lighten up my green a bit and then to get some of my shades find my green I'm going to pull in just a couple of drops of violet viola can be very very strong so don't use too much of it okay you can always add more Violet if you need to but it's hard to take it away okay so where my boxes connect is usually going to be my darker area I'm going to pull in dark over here so I have my kids and shades that I'm falling in and this is actually going to give me a box that looks like a box it actually has depth and form to it and looks like it is popping out at me and so you're just going to take your time I'm painting this so as soon as you guys come in tomorrow you can actually get your paint pallets and you're going to there's going to be two people on a pallet so you know tablemates either next to each other across from each other will share palette and you guys will will have to know when you come up to the paint counter to get your pallets what color combination you guys are doing now both of you on the same palette want to do the same color combination that's fine if if one person wants to do one thing and one person wants to do another thing that's okay too you don't have to agree on color combinations you just have to share a pal okay and again craft is important when you're doing optical art because if you're just kind of throwing paint at it and hoping it sticks you're not going to get your Appliance and when you get your Chris blinds that's when it shoots out at you okay your math is important on the drying but following through with that man in the painting as fact is just as important all right so you want to make sure that you're you're minding your math alright any questions about that you have plenty of time to work on his bank and you have like a foal like 5 days to just paint so that's 5 hours of jazz painting them okay so there's no excuse for a hot mess or for my just throwing paint a didn't go well maybe thick no really take your time okay I've got good brushes over there for you guys we have good acrylic paints this is what you're going to do all right hey so that is how you will start off tomorrow
