Hello

Hello!  My name is Loren Begay, and I am entering my 5th year as the 7th-grade Social Studies teacher at Winslow Junior High.  I come to Winslow from the small Community called Seba Dalkai. I graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor's degree in Social Science with a concentration in Education. I also have a master's degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. 

 

Before becoming a teacher, I traveled as a professional Pow Wow dancer throughout the country, where I explored the diverse cultures of this great land. 

 

I look forward to sharing experiences with my students and sharing the love of history that I've gained from my travels.
