ELA Teacher and Cultural Exchange Educator

Hello, everyone!

My name is Irish Goopio, and I am excited to return for my second year as a cultural exchange teacher from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English Language, and I am certified to teach in Arizona.

This year, I am teaching 7th and 8th Accelerated ELA classes and 7th General Education ELA. I love bringing my culture, skills, and passion for teaching to inspire students and support their growth. Collaboration with students, families, and colleagues is very important to me.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, journaling, and spending time in nature. I look forward to another wonderful year building a supportive and enriching learning environment!
