Our New ELA Teacher and Cultural Exchange Educator

Hello!

My name is Irish Goopio, and I am thrilled to join the school community as a cultural exchange teacher from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English language, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education with the same specialization. I am also certified by the state of Arizona to teach, and I will be teaching English Language Arts (ELA).

In addition to my academic background, I bring my culture, skills, and passion for teaching to nurture and inspire students. I believe in the power of collaboration, and I am eager to work closely with our community and stakeholders to ensure the success of every student. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, writing poetry and journaling, and spending time in nature. I am excited to immerse myself in this community, learn from everyone, and contribute to creating an enriching environment for all.
