About Me

I am a proud graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 2015. After high school, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Arizona Christian University. In addition to teaching, I volunteer nationally with Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), a nonprofit that inspires and develops youth leaders across the country, a passion that allows me to connect students to leadership opportunities beyond the classroom.

At Winslow Junior High School, I teach Career Exploration and serve as the Student Council Advisor, helping students prepare for their futures while also guiding them to be leaders in our school and community. I also get the incredible opportunity to work with my mom, Lynne Sawyer! 

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, watching and playing sports, and spending time with my husband, Brian Sewell, who teaches Construction at Winslow High School.
