Hi! My name is Debra Smith and I am the 7th & 8th grade Computer Teacher that has been a rewarding experience for me. I love teaching coding, Java Script, and Python through Project Stem funded through Amazon. I teach a section of Credit Recovery. I am graduate of Winslow High School then attended Yavapai Community College and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Arizona University. I have Masters in Curriculum & Instruction through the University of Phoenix. I have been teaching since 1986 in a variety of places but I am glad to be back home. I have always wanted to be teacher because I want to help children learn new and exciting things. I am married and have two children of my own and six stepchildren. I have 18 fantastic grandchildren and with five great grandchildren. I like to help each of my children and stepchildren and grandchildren to learn new things. Lastly, I’m all in because I want students to enjoy learning and want to come to school everyday.
